Focused Education is actively supporting the implementation of licenses across our province and recognizes the importance of this tool to support continuity of learning.

A survey to confirm interest as well as other details required to set-up a sub-account under the provincial license has been distributed. If your district or school has not received and completed the survey, it can be accessed at the link following:

After completing the survey, you’ll be invited to a webinar. Given the scope of this implementation, we ask for your patience as we work to onboard everyone.

  2. How do I get access to ZOOM for free for my school? Please fill in the following survey to be added to the list to get access: https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/5550151/Zoom-Account-Enrollment.
  3. I haven’t received the activation email?  If you haven’t received your activation email then please contact: zoombck12@focusedresources.ca Also make sure that the email didn’t go into your spam or junk mail folder in your email.
  4. If my teachers or school already created personal or professional accounts with Zoom can we move them all under this new FREE license? Yes, if you go under User Management in your admin account you will be able to add your users there. Once they confirm the transfer they will be setup under your school.
  5. If we already paid for a license can we get a refund? Yes, typically it is just done automatically when you transfer/add the account to your new school admin account. If you have any issues getting a refund please contact billing@zoom.us
  6. Once I login with my new account it is still asking for a credit card, do I need to provide that? No, you shouldn’t need to provide a credit card because the Ministry is paying for this license, and it is FREE to all schools. If you are still getting that request please email us and we will check your account setup.
  7. When is it FREE until? The license is free for all schools until June 2021.

  10. How many people can I have in a single room? Each room has the capacity to have 300 people in a individual meeting.
